That’s when the first photograph was taken. It almost feels like a whole lifetime ago. .

Way back when I still lived with my mom, and before I met the man who lifted me up to my highest potential (my lovely hubby). When I look back at photos like this, I cry a little inside. .
.
I spent so many years simply existing. I didn’t really have goals, I just really wanted to fit in with my peers. High school was really hard for me. I was bullied, and didn’t even go to prom because of all the hate. This was one year post graduation. This was one year of not having people shame me for my size. This is when I started to feel like I could maybe be beautiful. .
.
If I could go back to this Ariel, and tell her what her life would be like in 7 years, I would! She needed to hear how positive the changes would be. She would have fought harder to win all her battles if she knew. I don’t blame her. I actually thank her all the time for never giving up. .

  • Unlike most people, I had absolutely no background in anything “flexibility” related when walking into my first yoga class.
.
To be honest I could barely touch my toes, let alone my knees.
.
Sometimes I have to work twice as hard to improve on my flexibility - waking up to stretch my hips every. single. day.
.
I used to avoid doing things I considered myself “bad” at. Now I realize how much fun it is to look back and see progress.
.
If you hate a certain workout or yoga pose  DON’T AVOID it!! Address what your weakness is and work to improve it.
.
Center splits I’m coming for you.

  • When in Tulum 💪🌴 Naturally we made time during our vacation to come here. Working out in soft sand and warm weather on the beach is amazing, but it is no joke! The day was well spent.

  • Last night’s workout was sooooo good!! I started with 30lbs for the lawnmower tower but did my last two set’s with 35’s!! And I was so happy that I did 44lbs for all of the kettlebell shoulder presses! Seeing so many positive changes in my body and loving this journey!

Warmup:
#glutebridge  in a Descending ladder starting at 15 and going all the way down to 0....
And then 5 minutes of weighted walking lunges (10lbs each hand) 🔥 TH E  W O RK O U T 🔥
Suspension Trainer Circuit:
12 reps each
-Leg Curls
-Tricep Extensions
-20 heel raises 10lbs each hand - Kettlebell Circuit:
5 Overhead Presses (44lbs)
10 Swings (36lbs)
15 Split Squats (36lbs)
-Jump Rope 100 Single Unders OR 30 Double Unders

40:15 4 rounds
-Cable Rope Curls
-Double Elevation Single Leg Hip Lift
-Hollow Rock with Miniband Stomps

40:15 4 rounds
-Lat/Front Shoulder Raises
-Lawnmower Rows (35lbs!!!)

  • New squat record for myself 130kg squat not bad for a 5ft4 76kg guy, but want 160kg squat, no video not idiotic enough video sumin im not confident ill get.... However cant say i didnt almost shit myself on the way down like, 3 reps, I'll take that, thanks for the spot @kapatsulias

I said im down not out...... No longer down either ☺️☺️

  • Кто то ждёт поездки на море и заграницу, а кто то в Великий Новгород. Ведь 30 июня состоится эвент на моей самой любимой трассе из всего питерского матсури. И как и каждый предыдущий год это просто нельзя пропустить. ⠀

Мне нравится, что там можно наблюдать не только всех наших, но и дрифт пилотов из Москвы. Поэтому помимо топ32, который я надеюсь наберется, есть и капелька состязания между городами. Правда признаться честно, иногда я болею и за чужую команду, но что поделать когда тачка симпатизирует больше. ⠀

В общем впереди всего 10 дней, настрой уехать в этот тихий городок уже на пределе, и пусть первый месяц лета к тому времени пройдёт, главное же не время года, а события и моменты которые происходят. .
