  • Morning sickness and nausea hit my pretty hard this pregnancy. I couldn’t eat a normal meal for a long time. I needed to still get in some nutrients during the day so I went on a quest to make a green smoothie that could be seriously loaded with veggies yet still be sweet enough where it wouldn’t be an aversion. This smoothie is perfection! This Superfood Green Smoothie has tons of veggies yet it is sweet. It will set you up with energy to get you through the day! Also bonus, it’s toddler approved!   • Veggie pizza 🍕

300 gr yeast dough
150 gr champignon mushrooms 
1 eggplant 
2 tomatoes 
100 gr of vegan cheese
Salt, 1 tbsp olive oil 
Chop and fry mushrooms and eggplant. Roll pizza dough, put mushrooms, eggplant, sliced tomatoes, grated cheese. Heat up the oven until 230°C. Bake pizza for 20 minutes. 
Bon appetit! 🥰

  • I was tagged by the lovely @amycakeskr many moons ago, to share 5 facts about myself (including a baking fail). I FINALLY had a little time to try this fun #tell5tag5 challenge. So here goes!

1. My love for smoothie bowls was what got me started on IG back in 2017. And here I am, two years later, discovering a passion for cooking, food styling and food photography. It’s been a wonderful new creative outlet and I’m excited to see where it will lead me. Today, I’m taking it back to the beginning — smoothie bowls! Pictured above: pitaya smoothie bowl with all of my favorite toppings. (:

2. I’m a true-blue Angeleno, born and raised in L.A. I love this city! Reppin’ the 213 for life, y’all!

3. My nickname growing up was Olive Oyl. Tall, skinny, weak chin, and big feet! ☺️☺️
.
4. I love Rap. My go-to karaoke song is ‘Changes’ by 2Pac (my favorite hip-hop artist of all time). If I weren’t a designer, maybe I would’ve been a professional rapper, lol. Well, probably not, since I have stage fright. But if I did go pro, my stage name would be Olive Oil! 😁😆

5. **Baking Fail** I don’t bake much but have too many cooking fails to count. The biggest one in recent memory was a very expensive fail! Last year, I was dating a boy and he wanted to cook paella together. We went all out on the best ingredients (paella rice from Spain, the best saffron, fresh seafood including $50 lobster, etc.). He even bought an authentic paella pan. Well, this pan (HUGE, btw) didn’t have a flat bottom and we had no idea it would be such an issue with my electric stovetop. Boy was HE wrong (yes, let’s blame it on him, lol 🤣. I’m pretty sure I suggested using a different pan). Anyways, the heat was uneven, and we crammed the pan with too many ingredients. The result? 6 servings of pricey burnt paella, with some overcooked and undercooked parts. We managed to pick at certain bits of the dish (avoiding the burnt center) but it tasted so smoky! The boy didn’t work out either so 2 fails in all!
