  • It's the first day of our Summer Strong fitness challenge🤩 I have a lot going on right now. My (normal) gym is occupied. My family is here visiting. I have been feeling really fatigued lately. But this morning, I got in my gogo juice and pushed play in my OFFICE because I can literally workout ANYWHERE with our virtual gym💻 Post workout, I felt so much better and I even completed my workout before my family came downstairs to eat breakfast!! #winning Working out 4-5 times a week is a nonnegotiable for ME. I'm now thinking of creating a nutritional nonnegotiable to focus on this summer. Maybe eating three servings of veggies a day? I think that is doable. What about you?? Do you have a nonnegotiable HEALTHY habit?? If so, let me know what it is below! If not, here are a few ideas: Workout for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week; drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of water each day; eat 3-4 servings of veggies every day; sleep 7-8 hours each night; and track everything you eat and drink daily. #thinkwaterfirst #veggiesmost #healthyhabits #nonnegotiable #summerstrong #shaunt #speed2.0

  • Everything good that’s ever happened to me has always come from getting uncomfortable.

And, it didn’t “happen” to me....I had to created it.

We only get to see what’s really out there for us when we take small risks, realise that it’s not gonna kill us, learn something powerful from it, and then realise you can go even further next time.

So take the leap. Do that scary thing. Give yourself permission to try new things and make mistakes.

Even if the it hurts and feels like a stretch. It’ll give you a lifetime of growth, if you let it.

  • We can’t always control everything that happens in our lives.... but one thing we can control is how we react to certain situations and our mindset. If an outcome is not what was expected, then changes can be made. Ultimately, it all comes down to you making a change, shifting your mindset and surrounding yourself with like minded people. ✨

Happy Monday, sending peace and love your way! 💛✨💛✨💛

Been seeing everyone’s post from Sweden and it makes me so excited to compete in July and August! It was my goal last May to learn more about this sport to make me a better competitor and to redeem myself after bombing out at Collegiates last year. I even researched into sports psychology and heard a quote from a podcast that said “It’s not about the setback, it’s about the comeback” and that has stuck with me ever since. I’ve realized failing has taught me more than winning ever will, so my advice to people is don’t be afraid to fail, learn from it! Don’t be afraid to take a step back and ask for advice, as a person it’s always good to learn different things and grow, just don’t give up on your goals because it wasn’t the path you thought it would be🏋🏽‍♀️🇺🇸

Also 2 more weeks to order a shirt if your interested in supporting my way to Estonia and Canada, link in bio if interested, these also say “Never Give Up” on the back 😉😉 thank you so much to everyone who has donated or bought a shirt, it means so much! 💙

  • ‘Why am I not seeing the results from the hard work I put into my workouts? Am I not working hard enough?’
.
My ANSWER: It’s not that you’re not working hard enough. It’s that in order for your body to change, you have to progressively work a little harder; every single workout.
.
My biggest TIP: Try adding a personal ‘challenge’ to every workout.
.
Lift MORE: Whether it’s kettlebells, dumbbells, or a medicine ball, challenge yourself to use a slightly heavier weight than what you’re used to. Using 10 pounds instead of 8 pounds may not sound like a lot, but your muscles will feel the difference!
.
Rest LESS: Whether it’s between exercises or sets of exercises, cut your rest time short. Resting for 90 seconds instead of 2 minutes will help burn more calories and body fat.
.
These subtle changes will help boost the intensity factor of your workouts, force you to gradually work a little bit harder and create results you can see!
.
Comment with 💪 if you will add a personal challenge to your next workout!

  • Lately I’ve been spending a lot more time on increasing my athleticism and working on certain skills. Things like handstands, pull ups, jumping (I’m the actually the worst jumper, I look like such a goof 😂). I’ll spend like 15-30 minutes working on a specific skill either at the end or beginning of my workout. It’s given me so much more motivation in the gym and has honestly just made it more fun.
I just wanna be able to do handstand walks and cool tricks 🤸🏼‍♂️ (and also be more fit, that’s also a plus)
