  • Adventure is in the eye of the beholder, am I right? Today I’m taking nine 6th graders on a grand biking adventure. I hope they have as much fun as I do, but even if they don’t, I can still choose to enjoy myself. So whatever adventure you’re on today, embrace it and love it, even if you’re the only one. ☀️#activityzyia

  • This is a true bear hug - and a romantic one at that! We were watching the black bear boar for awhile as he foraged in the grass. Suddenly he stood on his hind legs at high alert at the sight of another bear approaching. He ran off to investigate and soon was romping around with a smaller cinnamon colored black bear. She was coy and playful - chasing him and then hiding behind a tree - darting up a tree and then looking back to see if he was following. He went along with the play a little bit but then would go back to grazing. Finally he seemed to figure things out as shown here, and they ambled off... #bears

  • Not much more beautiful than hanging fog in the valley. Getting more and more stoked for the summer ahead in Jackson.

  • One of my favorite things about Acadia is how dog friendly it is! The boys loved it! ▪︎
▪︎

▪︎
There are so many trail options for dogs here. If you travel with dogs you know that's not the case in most National Parks.

This was taken on one of my favorite trails - Cadillac Mountain South Ridge. It's rated hard and 7.5 miles but it's got some gorgeous views. ▪︎
▪︎
▪︎
▪︎
It does have some rungs and a little scrambling but the boys had no issues with the parts of the trail we did. I have a little Dog Friendly Trip Planner link in bio.

  • First of all you all already know what’s in that cup... champagne🤪🍾 Anyways, just placed my climbing gear back in the corner of my room. Nothing about gripping man made rocks compares to the feeling of your fingers using all they have to scale an outdoor wall. My fingers are begging me to lay themselves once again against the roughness of real rocks. In the meanwhile while I daydream of real rocks, I’ll be bettering myself for my next outdoor climb.

  • Have you visited Zion National Park before?
This desert park has no shortage of things to do. Hike up Angel’s Landing and see if you can brave the heights to see a view of the stretching canyon. Brave the river to hike The Narrows and learn why people love exploring canyons. Take in beautiful views of red rocks like The Watchmen and so many others.
What’s your favorite part of Zion? Tell us below!
