  • Back to my roots! Before I was an IFBB Bikini Pro, I was a collegiate track athlete. I ran the 400meter hurdles as my main event 👟🔥training for track was much different than the training I do now. For track, I did a lot of “fast twitch” muscle training, plyos, technique drills...and I didn’t have lifting days too often (maybe once a week) but the lifts that we did were olympic-style & compound lifts mixed with weighted plyos.  The most painful workouts were the 400 meter repeats. Holy moly... those would make me nauseated from the lactic acid buildup. My legs would feel like jello afterwards.  A whole different kind of pain lol. Track athletes can relate to that I’m sure 😅 maybe I’ll do a YouTube video about the differences in training for 400m hurdles vs. Bikini. Would you guys like to see that? LMK!

  • If you're dreading going to the gym, try following an outdoor workout with a partner or going to that new spin class ...or even a hike!  Try something that excites you, or with someone who makes it fun!  Fitness/exercise should be a rejuvenating ESCAPE for your day, not a chore. If you’re doing the same workout at the same place every week, of course you’re going to get bored. I encourage you to SWITCH IT UP! 🔥 .

I thought it would be kinda fun to recreate this photo with @bluelineefex 📷 there’s roughly 7 or 8 yrs between these two photos... I remember taking the photo on the left right before I started training for my first bikini competition 😁 .

& I know I’m going to get asked this so I’ll go ahead & answer- I’ve experimented with a few hair colors throughout my life, but my natural hair color is light brown 😜
