  • Mothers are all the more precious, important and hardworking when their daughters are turning into mothers! Apart from the excitement my mom has to welcome our baby, she’s been such a pillar of strength to me through the process! Thanks Ma. ❤️ I love you!

  • To the man who has won over my soul! ❤️
A husbands support through every step of life is so necessary but I’ve come to realize that the kind of support my mind, body and soul have needed the most, is during my pregnancy! And my husband has never failed to deliver :)
Thank you Brabus, for being my one and only! For putting up with my happy days and the frustrating ones! For coming home from work to only see me cry and whine about the various things that have never mattered! For still cuddling me with the warmest hug and always making sure I sleep with a smile!
You’ve been the best friend and an even better husband! And I can’t wait for our little one to grow up to be just like you. ❤️

  • As the big day comes closer and closer, cherishing every little kick in my tummy! I never knew pregnancy was so special until I stepped into the experience myself! :)
So do you think I’m having a GIRL or BOY? 😉

  • #FirstTrimester : I was shooting for my first movie throughout my first trimester & shoot could get quite challenging! Most of my schedule was only during the nights and staying up was hard! Our schedules went on from 6pm to 6am and although I LOVED the process, my body did give up after every few hours and I took a lot of naps in the caravan 🙈 (my director is a gem!).
.
Working through pregnancy is POSSIBLE. And no. Not just desk jobs. I went out to shoot, did some rough scenes in cars & autos and I still was healthy and never for a second put myself or my baby at risk. My doctor was probably my biggest moral support. She’s always just a call away for me and she was the first person to give Shashank and me the confidence that we could do this movie if we wanted to!
.
A lot of young women think pregnancy requires you to do things out of the ordinary, it doesn’t. For a few months before and after you deliver, yes. But not forever. My life has not been any different! Except for giving up on wine temporarily 😉 I was also lucky to not have a lot of nausea through my first trimester, so that helped a lot with my work! There were days when I threw up in the caravan and got right out for my shot but that didn’t stop me from working and that shouldn’t stop you either! ❤️
