  • The shoulder butterflies with static cross hold and short range pump reps.
Part of my shoulder warmup.
Let me know how you like it. This isn’t a power move so don’t pack on the heavy weights. I use 5 lbs and it’s borderline doable!

  • My daily NOT TO DO LIST & TO DO LIST:
1. Allowing my energy to be used in the wrong place.
2. Distract my mind from my priorities
3. Use time inefficiently
4. Keep my monsters and demons in chains. Not feed them.
5. Count my worries or distress.
My Daily TO DO list:
1. BE GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING, good or bad. Any thing considered negative CAN be changed into growth.
2. Say NO to ALL THINGS that are not in my top 5 priority.
3. LAUGH at myself and my ambitions.
4. Educate myself.
5. Chill out at 6 pm, shut off the world, just BE. And eat a delicious dinner with dessert every day!

#TBT In photo: The other day @organic_twins were back after months away from Golds and it was awesome to kinda show I gained my muscles back after my hamstring surgery. Last time I was on crutches! (They probably didn't think about that since I am not the center of the universe but it was on MY mind! It's now past one year after surgery and I'm back muscle wise where I was before I took months off! Patience is a virtue and that virtue I have. )
I’d love to read YOUR lists!

  • If you care about your body you work out provided you have the privilege to do so.
Not working out is abuse to your body.
A Sedentary lifestyle is for your muscles what sexual abstinence is for sanity: recipe for FAIL.

  • BLOATED?

It's NORMAL to have digestive changes when you CHANGE what you put through your digestive tract!

Bloating is caused by MANY factors.
Bloating is often confused with STUFFED BELLY.

When you eat a big meal it HAS to go somewhere momentarily before the food is processed and sent to the intestine for nutrient absorption.

Often body fat is what people think is BLOAT.

Body fat is not bloat or distention.

If you are new to vegetables, a high fiber diet, higher protein, more fat, less fat etc you WILL go through a phase of adaptation.
The time for adaptation differs from one person to another but it sure does take more than a couple of weeks!
CHEW YOUR FOOD very thoroughly.

DRINK PLENTY of water.

EAT the same foods over and over to build up your efficiency at digesting them.

Take more digestive enzymes if you want, but your body DOES produce more digestive enzymes for what you eat regularly.
Take probiotics to support your gut bacteria.

Don't eat brassica veggies RAW unless you want to fart like a cow all day long.

Remember GAS is NORMAL and BENEFICIAL when it comes from VEGETABLES. The smell is from your bacteria's WORK at keeping you healthy.

  • My TOP HABITS for HEALTHY SKIN
Protect and Prevent damage is key. Sorry to break it to you but sun exposure breaks down collagen, it doesn't BUILD it. Collagen is a protein in your body that gives you 'FIRMNESS' and a SMOOTH complexion.

Sun block and sun screens are your best friends for a young looking body and face.
COVER UP. Use a hat. Use sunglasses. Don't sit outside in the sun to get a tan which is damage to your skin, not a healthy glow even though it might look it until you hit 30!

EAT VEGETABLES! YOUR SKIN is the wrap of your body so of course it'll reveal your LIFESTYLE HABITS.
Vegetables provide antioxidants and protective phytochemicals linked to longevity and disease prevention.

Don't smoke cigarettes or cigars.
These are infamous for aging you. Nicotine lowers estrogen which puts you at risk for osteoporosis, heart disease, and collagen breakdown. Collagen and estrogen go hand in hand pretty much. LOW estrogen as what happens in menopause means LOW collagen production too. Basically your whole body slows down.
Protect your liver! WHAT YOU DO NOT eat and drink matters. Alcohol is your enemy for youthful skin. Your liver hates alcohol. Your liver is in charge of cleansing and detoxing so do you really want a pissed and grumpy one?

Take SUPPLEMENTS that PROTECT your LOOKS from the inside and out: My Fighterdiet Detox was created with SKIN HEALTH in mind, and so was my collagen drinks.

Just like having a fit body takes a fitness LIFESTYLE, SKIN health does too. It takes 6-12 weeks of consistent habits to SEE results. Stick with the program to get rewarded!
