  • The key to having a great workout is preparation. I’ve been using resistance bands a lot for the past few years, and it’s really helped with improved mobility, range of motion, and muscle activation.

This video swipe shows a great shoulder routine I did yesterday in NYC (where I’m at for the @fitplan_app meet & greet). You can find a ton more stretch & mobility workouts on my latest app program: http://ftpln.com/mobilitymaster (link also in bio), which focuses on 8 weeks of progressive programs, all of which can be performed in 15 minutes or less at home, with only some bands, massage balls, and rollers.

The focus is on dynamic stretching and mobility, to help improve not just your flexibility and range of motion, but recovery & general wellness & feel good.

Minimal equipment needed. Most programs can be performed all at home (all can, with a few simple modifications), with practically all needing no more than 15 minutes of your time.

  • These are 3 of my favorite go-abdominal moves for tightening up the lower abs.

Hanging knee lifts: 30 Reps.
Decline Plate Rotations: 50 Reps.
Swiss Ball Double Crunches: 30 Reps.

I’ll typically perform these in a circuit or 2-3 after fasted cardio, or more recently - at the start of my weight lifting (if I don’t perform cardio that day). No. I don’t typically workout shirtless.

Yes. Those compression tights and shorts (both by @leorever.official) are what I’m basically in for every workout. Super comfortable, and can stand the wear and tear or continuous wear and intense training.

Looking forward to launching some of my new training programs and platforms throughout the year.

To anyone who sets the sights high on a goal... stick at it. Don’t ever give up on that dream if it’s something you want so badly - with the right work ethic and commitment, you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve.

  • Balance is important. I think we all need a little stress to keep us motivated and driven. It also helps us fine tune our ability to be aware and react much quicker to changing situations.

Nothing relating to fitness here, and this image was snapped during a shoot a few months back in downtown - as I almost face planted into the concrete, but the message is relatable to many I feel.

Stay driven, knowing there’ll always be a a force acting against you. Embrace this and see it for what it is. The “negative” shouldn’t affect the “positive”. #positivity

  • This was a great leg workout from a recent video shoot for @leorever.official - Quads & Hamstrings hit hard.

Essentially this can be performed as a circuit of each exercise performed for 15 reps at 80% effort, increasing intensity within circuit 2 & 3.

Or, perform each exercise for 4 sets total, with a rep range of 15-10, increasing weight/intensity per set.

A few warm up sets, along with a little flex & mobility, and this routine was all wrapped up within an hour.
